The rules for using this website.
01Using this site
This website (nexiverify.com) is operated by Nexi Technologies, Inc., a Delaware corporation (“NEXI”, “we”, “us”). By using the site you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use the site. If a separate written agreement with NEXI covers a paid or pilot engagement, that agreement controls for that engagement.
You may view and use the site for your own informational and business purposes. Please don't misuse it — for example, by attempting to break or overload it, gaining unauthorized access, scraping it through automated means, or using it to build a competing product. All rights we don't expressly grant are reserved.
02Open-source components
NEXI's reference verifier is expected to be released under the Apache License, Version 2.0, with a public LICENSE drop scheduled for June. Once released, the Apache 2.0 terms — not these terms — govern your use of that verifier, and they will be published with the release.
03Our intellectual property
Except for open-source components, the site and its content are owned by NEXI or its licensors and protected by intellectual-property laws. “NEXI”, “NEXIVERIFY”, and the NV monogram are our trademarks; please don't use them without permission, except to refer to us fairly. If you send us feedback or ideas, we may use them freely without obligation to you.
04Early-stage and research status
NEXI is an early-stage company. Parts of what we publish are pre-release or research artifacts, offered for evaluation only. They may change or be withdrawn at any time and are not intended for production use unless we say otherwise in writing.
05Disclaimer and limitation of liability
The site and its content are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure, or that any output is fit for a particular use. Nothing here is an audit or assurance opinion. To the maximum extent the law allows, NEXI will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for lost profits or data, arising from your use of the site. Our total liability for any claim relating to the site will not exceed one hundred U.S. dollars (US$100). Some jurisdictions don't allow these limits, in which case they apply to the extent permitted.06Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules, and the courts located in New Castle County, Delaware will have jurisdiction over any dispute. If any provision is found unenforceable, the rest stays in effect. We may update these terms from time to time; material changes take effect when we post them with an updated date above.
